Road noise barrier (also called a soundwall, sound berm, sound barrier,
or acoustical barrier)
is an Sound insulation and noise reductionexterior structure
designed to protect inhabitants

propagate to the sound barrier, they are absorbed and blocked,

of noise on the receiving area.
