Steel mesh is a type of metal screen mesh, also known as metal
plate mesh, diamond mesh, iron plate mesh, etc. It is a mesh like
material formed by processing metal sheets through special
machinery (steel mesh punching and shearing machine).
High strength and impact resistance
Made directly from metal sheet, it retains the rigidity of the raw
material, has high tensile strength, and can withstand large loads
(such as vehicle crushing, heavy object impact), suitable for
protection, platform pedals, and other scenarios.
For example, in industrial platforms, steel mesh can be used as
anti slip pedals, which can bear the weight of equipment and resist
the impact of machinery such as forklifts.
Lightweight and high load-bearing capacity
After stretching to form diamond or hexagonal mesh holes, the
material density decreases, but the structure is supported in a
mesh pattern, with a higher load-bearing capacity per unit area
than traditional solid boards, achieving a balance of "lightweight
and high load-bearing".
Compared to steel plates of the same thickness, the weight of the
steel mesh can be reduced by 30% to 50% while maintaining over 80%
of its load-bearing capacity.
Anti slip and wear-resistant characteristics
The edges of the mesh are punched to form raised edges, with high
surface roughness and significant anti slip performance, especially
suitable for humid and oily environments (such as kitchens and
workshop floors).
The metal material itself is wear-resistant, and is not easily
deformed or worn out after long-term use. Its service life can
reach more than 10 years.
